Berkeley Home
BerkeleyHome Real Estate was founded by
Tim Cannon and Anne Politeo in November of 2000. Both Anne and Tim started their careers in the late 1970's, and worked in both large and small real estate offices.
In the mid-late 1990’s, for about 8 years, Tim managed an office of approximately
36 agents prior to the opening of BerkeleyHome.
BerkeleyHome Real Estate is located at the corner of Monterey and
Hopkins Streets, in a popular shopping area across from Monterey Market, and other popular shops and cafes.

Tim and Anne chose the Arlington Fountain as their logo, mainly because the Fountain represents what people love the most about Berkeley, its neighborhoods.
The Fountain has been located at Marin Circle since 1910, when it was the cornerstone of the then-new Northbrae development of Berkeley. Six streets converge at The Circle, and the baby grizzly bears supporting the top tier of the Fountain greet commuters in every direction. The bears are, of course, the symbol of our beloved University of California, the alma mater of Anne and Tim. We stay intimately connected to Cal and our community in many ways. Our goal is to be a resource to people who are drawn here, those who reluctantly must leave, and those who are here to stay. Go Bears!
